It's All About the Light!

Little known fact, I'm obsessed with America's Next Top Model. And what are those girls constantly told? Find your light. So even though I'm primarily a natural light photographer and LOVE shooting outside, this summer I decided to dive into the world of studio lighting by taking a class. Here are some of my favorite shots of the teenage model and mommy-to-be from my "studies"....

Zoe

...another shoot with a girl and her dog! Zoe is such a sweetie and was so much fun to shoot. My favorite picture from this shoot is the one of her laughing... it doesn't get much cuter than that. =)

Stephanie & Johnny's Big Day!

This may have been the most fun wedding that I've shot yet! Stephanie and Johnny are so in love and had the perfect summer day to celebrate that love!

Stephanie and Stephen Tie the Knot

A few weeks ago I traveled up to Rockford to shoot Stephanie and Stephen's wedding with Angie Adams. The bride was a self-proclaimed crafter, and added so many personal touches. The candy bar was a hit and it was a beautiful spring wedding!

Lynn & Beau

Lynn and Beau were married on a beautiful mountain in Wyoming. Then they celebrated with a reception on a warm, sunny spring day here in Illinois. The couple was so in love, the bride's dress was gorgeous, Back Country Roads was the rockin' reception band, and they had bacon cupcakes! It was so much fun!

Puppies!

My spring break was spent taking pictures of puppies for a photo collage I wanted to create. I can't think of a better way to have spent it!

Taylor and Her Pups

As you can probably tell by the gap, things have been very busy! But here are some of the shots I've been working on.... Taylor and I ventured out on a cold, snowy day to take some pics with her dogs, Spot and Midge. I always love the chance to work with pets!
