My first photo shoot with kids. Very, very busy kids! I'm still working on the editing process, but here are a few teasers!

How cute are tutus???

Tomorrow I have another photo shoot. This time it's 3 of my little cousins. They're VERY high energy, but I'm so excited!!! Hopefully the weather cooperates, because I have picked out an awesome location! I'm also giving the girls tutus! After seeing some pictures of girls in tutus, I have become somewhat obsessed. But seriously, how cute are they?!

The first shoot!

Sunday night, I did a shoot with my sister, Aileen. I took over 100 pictures, but a lot of them were me trying to figure out how to use the different settings. All this technical stuff can be tricky! A few turned out good and I LOVE my Corel editing software even more now! Here is the finished product.....

The TRUE Beginning!

Last night, I did a practice photo shoot with my sister, Aileen. Being the Diva-licious eighteen year old that she is, she was happy to have her picture taken! I have a lot of shots to edit, but more to come on that later....

I was at my parents' house yesterday... being that it was Father's Day and all. I was digging through old photos (my mom is probably just as obsessed as I am) and found these gems! I completely forgot about my real first photo shoot with Aileen! In these pictures, she is about 2 or 3 years old (which would make me 8 or 9). There were so many to choose from (gotta love real film where you have to develop every single shot taken)! I thought they were hilarious!

Then I came across this one. Obviously my photography obsession continued... but wasn't getting a whole lot better! These are my two siblings and two of my cousins. This shot was taken a few years after Aileen's. What a great pose. Way to get anywhere near the subject. Way to cover the right half of the shot with your hand. haha. Oh well, I guess it gives me (A LOT of) room for improvement!

Here We Go!

This is the official start of my photography! For years, I've been looking at other photographers' work and collecting shots that I love. It's been a long time obsession, but I have finally decided to take the time and learn to do it myself. Luckily for me, I have a huge (and photogenic) family to practice with! My sister, Aileen, will be my first victim......

Hopefully I will have some great shots to post soon! Until then, here are a few shots that I have taken over the past year that I really love. Enjoy!
