Give A Dog A Bone...

I was so inspired by the pictures of Amanda and Aspen that I decided to take some shots of my own furbaby, MacKenzie. I had also just bought some new backdrops and wanted to practice with them... thank god my dog was willing to sit through it! But then again, I did give her a giant bone. Win-win situation!!

This week I took pictures of Amanda and her dog, Aspen. I am having a hard time deciding which ones to post here because there were so many great, heartfelt shots to choose from! There's just something about that special bond between a girl and her dog......

On a gloomy day....

I really wanted to take some pictures of flowers the other day, but it was so darn gloomy!! I went out anyway. I walked around downtown Sycamore for a while and ended up at Blumen Gardens. It's a landscaping place with amazing plants and yard accessories! Here's some pics I took....

The Short Family

This was my first family shoot. Again, I am so thankful that I have family who are willing to let me work on my skills by taking their pictures. And I'm so happy that I captured some great shots of them!
